Who we are

Curo Health Ltd. ("Curo", "we") operates curohealth.ca and app.curohealth.ca, a Canadian health platform that connects patients with licensed Canadian healthcare practitioners for online medical care, with dispensing and delivery by a licensed Canadian pharmacy. Curo does not practise medicine. All clinical decisions, including whether any treatment is appropriate, are made independently by licensed practitioners.

Eligibility and service area

You must be 18 or older and located in Canada to receive care through Curo. Availability of specific treatments may vary by province. You confirm that the information you provide during your health assessment is accurate and complete.

Prescriptions

Completing an assessment does not guarantee a prescription. A licensed practitioner reviews every assessment and decides what, if anything, is appropriate. Prescription medications are dispensed by a licensed Canadian pharmacy against a valid prescription.

Pricing and billing

If a practitioner prescribes treatment, your program price includes the prescribed treatment, clinician follow-ups and delivery. Your payment method is authorized when you submit your health assessment and is only charged once a prescription is issued. If a practitioner determines treatment is not appropriate, the authorization is released and you are not charged. Plans are billed per supply period and renew automatically until you pause or cancel. You can cancel any time from your patient portal before your next billing date, with no penalty.

Refunds and returns

If a practitioner determines you are not eligible for a prescription, you are not charged. Any card authorization is released, and any amount collected is refunded in full to your original payment method within 5 business days. Because dispensed prescription medications cannot legally be returned or resold in Canada, an order that has been prepared or shipped by the pharmacy is not refundable. If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or incorrect, contact support@curohealth.ca and we will make it right. Cancelling a plan stops all future charges.

Your account

Keep your login credentials confidential and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use. You agree not to misuse the platform, attempt to access other patients' information, or use the service on behalf of another person.

Privacy

Your personal health information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The Curo name, logo and site content belong to Curo Health Ltd. and may not be reproduced without permission.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Curo's liability in connection with the platform is limited to the amounts you paid to Curo in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing changes the professional obligations practitioners and pharmacies owe you directly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it.
